Good Morning LA!

One of the things I enjoyed doing most in Sydney were day hikes, and I'm trying to keep it up by going out every weekend. These are pictures of and from L.A.'s most stunning instance of urban planning done right, Griffith Park. Unfortunately, an arsonist started a fire last spring that burned about one-third of it, especially the Mt. Hollywood elevation. Still, the view from the top is wonderful, and the Observatory is truly majestic.
